We also put our values into practice as a certified Green Business, exploring ways to ensure our company operations leave a small footprint and respect our community’s resources. In 2020, not only did we get re-certified as a green business, but we achieved certification at the Innovator level with Green Business Santa Barbara County. In 2006, Allen was one of the first two green businesses certified by this program. With our recent re-certification, we went the extra mile and adopted a formal environmental policy and are working to establish a minimum set of green building standards, above and beyond code, for every project we build.
