Beverly Hills Hillside Residential Remodel
Designed by Tooke Architects, this four-bedroom, 4,991 square foot residence boasts three full en-suite baths, one powder room, and a media room. The original home was taken down to the studs, expanded and reconfigured with a modern design. This 3-story hillside residence in Beverly Hills sits on a lot with a nearly 45-degree steep slope, on a tight corner of an extremely narrow street, with hardly any space for parking. These conditions posed significant construction challenges for our LA Team as they worked to complete this whole house remodel. The challenges were addressed successfully and the final product is elegant.
Stunning open-riser stairs with glass railings, along with abundant skylights, maximize the openness of the space. Limestone and white oak adorn the floors. Spark linear fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom further enhance the home’s contemporary aesthetic. Wall-to-wall windows on the top two stories and wraparound decks with glass railings on all three stories invite the outdoors in and frame stunning vistas of Los Angeles below. A complete home automation system, high end Miele kitchen appliances, Dornbracht fixtures in the kitchen and baths, and, outdoors, an infinity-edged pool and spa, outdoor fireplace, and outdoor shower add luxurious touches to the project.
